ACF Fiorentina has lived a difficult season, but president Giuseppe Commisso has not given up. In a long letter published on the club's official website, Commisso has recounted the last season, remembering the difficulties encountered and the challenges overcome. "There are seasons that measure themselves with the ranking, and there are seasons that measure themselves with the heart. This season has tested our patience, our pride and our unity", wrote Commisso. The president has also remembered the passing of his father, Rocco B. Commisso, and how Fiorentina has been a place of comfort for him. "In the most difficult moment of the season, I believed that Fiorentina needed a significant and necessary change in its sports organization", wrote Commisso. The president has also expressed his gratitude for the work done by the new sports director Fabio Paratici and the coach Paolo Vanoli. "Salvation cannot be the destination of Fiorentina. It must be the point from which to rise", wrote Commisso. "Believe in Fiorentina. Believe in the work. Believe in the young people who are growing with these colors. Believe in the foundations we are building. Believe that pain can become strength, that unity can become progress and that Florence can always give beauty and meaning to these colors", concluded Commisso.
